Synopsis
A new year begins for the Genshiken crew, and with it comes the always-uncomfortable job of bringing in fresh faces. The Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture finds itself saddled with an unexpected addition when Chika Ogiue is effectively passed along from the Manga Club.
Ogiue’s first impression is anything but welcoming—introducing herself with the blunt declaration that she hates otaku. With that kind of start, Genshiken’s latest recruiting season is set to be anything but quiet.
