Walkure Romanze

Set in the historic town of Helen’s Hill, Winford Academy is a school where students train to become knights through the modern sport of jousting—learning horsemanship, technique, and the discipline of competition. Takahiro Mizuno once aimed to compete himself, but an injury forced him to leave the knight course and transfer into the begleiter program, where assistants support jousters in and out of the arena. With strong animal-handling skills and firsthand experience on the field, he quickly becomes a sought-after partner, drawing attention from several girls who want him as their dedicated begleiter—offers he routinely turns down.

Everything shifts when an unusual mishap leaves his friend Mio Kisaki facing a jousting challenge despite not being a knight. Takahiro steps in as her temporary begleiter, a decision that grows into an ongoing partnership as Mio sets her sights on the academy’s annual tournament.
