*Manie-Manie: Meikyuu Monogatari* is a three-part anthology film directed by Rintaro, Yoshiaki Kawajiri, and Katsuhiro Otomo, blending sci-fi unease with supernatural horror and dark adventure.

In “Labyrinth Labyrinthos,” Sachi searches for her cat, Cicerone, only for both to tumble through a mirror into a strange, disorienting maze. Drawn onward by the shadow of a clown, they press deeper without knowing what waits ahead.

“Running Man” follows reporter Bob Stone as he investigates legendary racer Zack Hugh, a ten-year champion of a wildly popular—and lethal—auto race. In “The Order to Stop Construction,” salaryman Tsutomo Sugioka is sent into a perilous jungle to shut down a project after a foreman vanishes, only to confront an automated construction operation that refuses to be controlled.
