One Stormy Night

Caught in a sudden thunderstorm, Mei, a young goat, ducks into an abandoned barn for safety. He isn’t alone for long—Gabu, a wolf, arrives seeking the same refuge. With the night so dark they can’t see one another, the two pass the hours talking and, by morning, part as unexpected friends with a promise to meet again.

Daylight brings an uncomfortable truth: goat and wolf are meant to be predator and prey. Even so, Mei and Gabu choose to protect their bond, meeting in secret as their trust grows. When their families discover what’s been happening, both are forced to weigh the value of their friendship against the danger it invites.
