Saint Beast: Angel Chronicles

In a distant past, Zeus established a celestial hierarchy among angels, categorizing them into three levels despite their intended equality. Entrusted with the stewardship of Earth’s creatures, six angels were selected as the Saint Beasts: Go, the seiyu; Shin, the genbu; Rei, the suzaku; Guy, the byakko; Yuda, the kirin; and Ruka, the hooh. However, two angels, Kira, the shooting star, and Maya, the fuga, chose to forgo the selection process and ventured down to Earth.

As the Saint Beasts diligently carry out their divine duties, they begin to question Zeus’s increasingly oppressive rule. This growing disillusionment sets the stage for a confrontation between loyalty and justice, as the angels grapple with their faith in their creator and the moral complexities of their roles in the world below.
