Gintama: Yorinuki Gintama-san on Theater 2D

Shinsengumi vice-commander Toushirou Hijikata gets his hands on a cursed sword that overturns everything people know about him, transforming the normally stern, hard-boiled officer into an incurable otaku. While he searches for a way to undo the spell, the up-and-coming Itou Kamotarou uses Hijikata’s sudden instability as a stepping stone, moving to push him aside and climb the ranks. What starts as an internal power play soon reveals a far more dangerous plot—one that threatens the Shinsengumi itself.

Elsewhere, the Yorozuya find themselves facing an unexpected prospective hire: Pirako Doromizu, a cheerful young woman whose bright demeanor masks an alarming taste for violence. Her connection to one of Kabuki-chou’s ruling figures turns her arrival into a spark, setting off a chain of events that drags the district toward open conflict.
