The Garden of Sinners: Future Gospel - Extra Chorus

Mikiya Kokutou has to be away for a short time, so he entrusts Shiki Ryougi with a cat to look after. Shiki isn’t thrilled about the sudden responsibility, and she struggles to make sense of her new feline housemate—especially when it becomes clear the cat has grown attached to Mikiya and seems to miss him in his absence.

Elsewhere in the city, Ririsu Miyazuki returns to the site where a close friend took her own life, intending to follow the same path. Her plans are interrupted by an unexpected encounter with Fujino Asagami, a blind classmate carrying her own painful history. Though they share little on the surface, Fujino’s presence stirs memories of the friend Miyazuki lost, offering her a way to face her grief.

Two months later, Mikiya chooses to spend New Year’s with Shiki rather than with his family, a decision that leaves his sister Azaka bitter enough to seek out her own company for the holiday. As snow settles over the city, Mikiya quietly reflects on a single wish: that Shiki’s life can be touched by genuine happiness.
