Gundam Reconguista in G

Regild Century 1014 arrives a thousand years after the close of the storied Universal Century, when figures such as Amuro Ray and Char Aznable defined mobile suit warfare. With Earth no longer the main stage of conflict, much of the planet lies quiet as humanity has shifted its life outward to space colonies and the Moon.

Bellri Zenam, a student at the Capital Guard Academy, expects a routine life of training until a pirate pilot, Aida Surugan, is captured along with her mobile suit, the G-Self. Drawn to the machine by an unusual mental affinity, Bellri discovers he can pilot it—and is quickly pulled into a widening struggle involving the Capital Guard and its hidden ambitions, set against the authority of the Amerian Army on Earth. Aboard the Amerian ship Megafauna, Bellri and Aida take the G-Self into battle against the Capital Guard’s leadership, including Colonel Kunpa Rushita and the masked Captain Mask.
