Mirai Kuriyama, the last survivor of a Spirit World warrior clan, can shape her own blood into weapons. Assigned to eliminate youmu—beings born from human negativity—she has a shocking encounter on a school rooftop with Akihito Kanbara, a rare youmu-human hybrid. Acting on instinct, Mirai strikes him with a blood-forged blade, only to discover he can’t die. An uneasy connection forms, marked by Mirai’s repeated attempts to prove herself as a warrior and Akihito’s steady insistence that she doesn’t have to face everything alone.

Pulled into the Literary Club alongside Spirit World warriors Hiroomi and Mitsuki Nase, Mirai finds support even as the threat around them escalates. As their ties deepen, the youmu grow more dangerous, and the looming emergence of the powerful Beyond the Boundary pushes their daily battles toward a struggle for survival.
