Vivio Takamachi, a Sankt Kaiser royal from ancient Belka who once suffered harsh treatment, now enjoys a quiet, happy life surrounded by family and friends. She spends her days training in martial arts under her coach, Nove Nakajima—until a sudden challenge arrives. A mysterious fighter named Heidi E. S. Ingvalt confronts Nove, demanding the whereabouts of the ancient Belkan royals; when Nove refuses, the clash turns one-sided before Heidi unexpectedly collapses. In the aftermath, Nove learns the attacker is actually Einhald Stratos, a middle school student.

After waking, Einhald explains she holds no grudge against the Belkan royals. Driven by an inherited desire to protect others and lingering regret tied to her ancestor, the Belkan ruler Claus Ingvalt, she seeks proof that her strength is worthy of that purpose. Curious about her resolve, Nove introduces Einhald to Vivio, and despite an awkward first meeting, Vivio eagerly trains alongside her—helping Einhald steady her heart as their sparring grows into a bright friendship.
