Toyotomi Hideyoshi stands close to bringing the realm under a single banner, with Odawara Castle as the last major obstacle. The fortress is defended by Ujiyasu Hōjō, the feared “Lion of Sagami,” setting the stage for a decisive clash in Japan’s turbulent past.

On the front lines are Hideyoshi’s handpicked commanders—among them Ishida Mitsunari, Katō Kiyomasa, Fukushima Masanori, Ōtani Yoshitsugu, Shima Sakon, and Naoe Kanetsugu—each thrown into the grueling siege. Within their ranks fight the Sanada brothers, Nobuyuki and the younger Yukimura; when the deadlock finally begins to give way, Yukimura charges forward on a lone horse, and Nobuyuki rides in after him.
