Initial D Legend 2 Racer

After seeing Takumi Fujiwara’s Toyota AE86 go head-to-head with Keisuke Takahashi’s Mazda RX-7, Takeshi Nakazato of the Myougi Night Kids sets his sights on a downhill showdown. Behind the wheel of a Nissan Skyline GT-R that should, on paper, overwhelm the lightweight AE86, Nakazato burns at the claim that Takumi is unbeatable. Convinced that disciplined grip driving outclasses showy drifting, he’s determined to win and settle the argument on the mountain road.

The challenge reaches Takumi in the most inconvenient way—Itsuki Takeuchi accepts on his behalf without thinking it through. Insisting he’s not a racer, Takumi tries to walk away, only to be prodded by his employer into taking the match seriously. But when the time comes to retrieve the AE86, he discovers his father has taken the car out, leaving Takumi waiting—and slowly realizing how much he wants to race.
