Hatsune-Jima was once famous for cherry trees that bloomed in every season, but that miracle ended two years ago—now the blossoms return only in spring. As Jun’ichi Asakura approaches graduation at Kazami Academy, his days are filled with familiar faces and new connections, keeping him busy in the calm after the island’s change.

That routine is shaken on a stormy summer day when a mysterious girl named Aisia appears at Jun’ichi’s doorstep. Searching for Sakura’s grandmother to learn magic and spread happiness, she’s stunned to learn Yoshino has already passed away—and, thanks to a misunderstanding, eagerly decides Jun’ichi must be her teacher instead. Even after realizing his “magic” is limited to producing Japanese sweets, Aisia continues her hunt for the real thing around the island, stirring up commotion as Kazami Academy brings in new medical staff.
