Ten years ago, a fairy named Daisy granted a young Eiji Hoshimiya a single wish—one whose contents remain unknown. What followed was the “Great Destruction,” a catastrophe that sent the world into collapse and claimed countless lives.

In the present, Eiji lives as a high school student focused on caring for his ill sister, burdened by the knowledge that his forgotten wish triggered the tragedy. Since then, many others have awakened powers tied to fulfilling their deepest desires; these individuals, known as “Orders,” are widely feared and despised. With some Orders seeking Eiji’s life in revenge for the deaths he caused, he’s forced to endure relentless assassination attempts while searching for the truth behind what he wished for—and why.
