Reikenzan: Hoshikuzu-tachi no Utage

In the nine provinces of Kyushu, an ancient prophecy warned that a shower of comets would drain the spiritual power of heaven and earth, plunging the world into chaos. Yet when the comets finally arrived, disaster never came. Around that same time, a boy named Ouriku was born in a secluded village of the Sokei region, his arrival quietly linked to the strange celestial event.

Twelve years later, with the omen largely forgotten, the Reikenzan clan—counted among the five greatest sects—announces an examination to recruit exceptional candidates who may one day rise as sages. Ouriku sets out with his attendant Ouchou to take the trials, only to find the proceedings overseen by Oubu: graceful on the surface, but notorious for her carefree irresponsibility, making the test as unpredictable as it is demanding.
