Koyomimonogatari follows Koyomi Araragi as he drifts between ordinary school days and the strange undercurrents of a town steeped in oddities. Whether he’s asked to look into a stone shrine, chase down a lingering rumor, or even join in something as simple as a game of hide-and-seek, he finds himself responding to requests from friends on both the human and supernatural sides.

Told through a collection of brief episodes, each encounter pairs Araragi with one of the girls around him for a small mystery to solve—or a moment to pass the time. As these seemingly casual cases add up, they begin to hint at a larger truth behind the town’s recurring paranormal phenomena.
