At HAL College of Technology and Design, students from the Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya campuses embark on an exciting collaborative project under the guidance of renowned mecha designer Takayuki Yanase and a team of industry experts. This initiative culminates in the production of three distinctive web movies, each serving as a showcase for the creativity and skills of these budding talents.
Comprising teams of 16 members, including animators, artists, and special effects technicians, the students are tasked with crafting their own unique advertisements. Drawing inspiration from a shared design and narrative framework, each team brings its vision to life, highlighting the diverse fields of study available at HAL, which range from game design and anime production to automotive design. The journey begins with a brief 16-second commercial, paving the way for the completion of an engaging 39-second web movie. Complementing these visuals is the energetic soundtrack provided by the J-rock band MY FIRST STORY, adding an extra layer of excitement to the students' creative endeavors.
