In a unique fusion of music and animation, BUCK-TICK x HAL showcases a collaborative effort between the renowned rock band and the students of HAL College of Technology and Design. Selected teams of students were given the opportunity to animate segments inspired by tracks from the band's latest album, "No. 0," released earlier this year. This creative endeavor, supported by Victor Entertainment, culminated in three standout music videos—featuring "Babel," "Guernica no Yoru," and "Hikari no Teikoku"—which were shared on Victor Entertainment's official YouTube channel.
Directed by Yuuichirou Iwaki, an accomplished alumnus of HAL and president of Speed Inc., these animated pieces blend vibrant visuals with BUCK-TICK's compelling sound. Additionally, a compilation video showcasing the remaining student works, lasting around ten minutes, can be found on HAL's official YouTube channel, highlighting the innovative spirit and talent of the next generation of artists.
