Aggretsuko

At 25, red panda Retsuko tries to keep her head down and do good work at her office, but daily life is packed with stress—misogynistic comments from her boss, patronizing coworkers, and the kind of workplace pressure that rewards quiet compliance. Her small stature and mild demeanor only make it easier for others to take advantage of her, even as she remains one of the most diligent employees around.

When the frustration finally boils over, Retsuko finds relief in an unexpected way: death metal karaoke. In her private fantasies, she unloads her pent-up anger through ferocious lyrics that call out the hypocrisy and absurdity of office life, giving her a much-needed outlet in a world ruled by hierarchy and appearances.
