In the year U.C. 0083, the fragile peace that followed the devastating One Year War is threatened by the emergence of the Delaz Fleet, a faction of Zeon loyalists intent on reviving the old regime. At the heart of this turmoil is Anavel Gato, a legendary pilot known as "The Nightmare of Solomon," who orchestrates a daring raid on the Federation's Torrington base in Australia, seizing the formidable Gundam GP02A "Physalis," equipped with nuclear capabilities.

Facing this escalating crisis is Kou Uraki, a novice pilot thrust into a world of conflict. With the support of Nina Purpleton, an engineer from Anaheim Electronics, and the crew of the carrier Albion, Kou takes to the skies in the Gundam GP01 "Zephyranthes."
