After a digital reset wipes their partners’ memories, the Chosen Children reunite with Digimon who no longer recognize them. As they struggle to rebuild those bonds, Sora Takenouchi faces an especially painful setback when Piyomon refuses to speak to her. Before anyone can make sense of the change, a hostile Digimon attacks, splitting the group apart and scattering both children and partners throughout the Digital World.

In the human world, Daigo Nishijima of the Incorporated Administrative Agency is warned that a new entity is hunting “Libra,” a name he suspects refers to Meicoomon. Unlike the others, Meicoomon still remembers everything—including her partner, Meiko Mochizuki, who has entered the Digital World alone in search of her. With unanswered questions surrounding the incidents so far, the Chosen Children must navigate the recreated Digital World, endure its dangers, and find a way back home.
