Synopsis
At the Adventurer’s Guild, Kazuma Satou is caught off guard when he meets Ran—an admirer who actually considers him a hero. Eager to maintain the image, he puts on his best confident act just as a new job comes in: a request to take down a massive golem guarding ancient ruins. Kazuma accepts, determined not to lose Ran’s respect.
After he and his party make it back safely, Kazuma keeps boasting, only for the guild receptionist to leverage his pride with yet another assignment—one that sends them right back to the same ruins. Lured by the thought of hidden riches, Kazuma talks the group into returning, but the second trip threatens to test his luck more than he expected.
