Synopsis

*Made in Abyss: Wandering Twilight* condenses episodes 9–13 of the 2017 TV adaptation, following Riko and Reg as they push deeper into the Abyss. Reaching the third layer, Riko suffers her first encounter with the Abyss’s Curse, a harsh reminder of the toll each descent can take.

Their journey continues into the fourth layer, where an Orbed Piercer gravely injures Riko’s arm and Reg struggles to keep her alive. Help arrives from Nanachi, who treats the poisoned wound—then asks Reg for a painful favor involving Nanachi’s immortal companion, Mitty. With that request answered, Nanachi chooses to accompany Riko and Reg as they continue toward the Abyss’s depths.
