Four years after completing *Daisan Hikou Shoujotai*, the once-celebrated Musashino Animation (“Musani”) has fallen on hard times. A major project was abruptly scrapped, leaving the studio in financial trouble and prompting many staff members to leave; since then, Musani has struggled to produce work that stands out. Producer Aoi Miyamori, though her confidence wavers, refuses to watch the studio fade away—and finally gets a chance to turn things around when an original theatrical film titled *SIVA* is greenlit with a release deadline just ten months away.

Away from the studio, Aoi’s friends are wrestling with their own career roadblocks: animation supervisor Ema Yasuhara is pushed to her limits by an unforgiving schedule, reporter and voice actress Shizuka Sakaki is frustrated by the lack of anime roles, screenwriter Midori Imai can’t seem to find her spark after a past failure, and 3D artist Misa Toudou worries her intense passion may be holding her back. In an industry defined by delays, disappointments, and constant pressure, the five women press on—still chasing the dream that first brought them together.
