Eureka Seven - good night, sleep tight, young lovers

Renton, the son of scientists, grows up alongside Eureka—a mysterious girl who can’t survive under direct sunlight. The two form a deep bond in childhood, only for Eureka to be taken away one day, leaving Renton unable to stop it. Determined to bring her back, he sets his sights on the military as his path to reaching her.

After proving himself in combat with Nirvash, a bio-mechanical armor and control system, Renton is assigned to the Independent Youths Unit 303 of the First Mobile Forces. As an alien invasion escalates, he finds himself pulled into a larger operation aimed at ending the threat—one that quietly involves both him and Eureka in ways he never anticipated.
