A Day Before Us

Caught in a sudden rainstorm, Ha Eun ducks under an awning and bumps into a familiar face from class. She tries to make small talk, but her classmate answers with chilly, clipped replies that cut the conversation short. When the cover above her gives way, she slips beneath his umbrella and, in the awkward scramble, ends up hugging him—only to apologize flusteredly as he climbs onto his bus.

Fate brings them together again at a dinner arranged by Ha Eun’s university friend, Yeo Reum, who introduces the reserved boy as Yeon Woo—his childhood friend. As the night winds down and the others head home, Ha Eun and Yeon Woo are left alone, sharing a quiet, wordless closeness that hints at what might come next.
