Sword Art Online the Movie: Progressive - Aria of a Starless Night

Asuna Yuuki, a high-achieving student focused on her entrance exams, is urged by her friend and classmate Misumi “Mito” Tozawa to step away from studying for the launch of Sword Art Online—an eagerly awaited virtual reality MMORPG. Taking the chance to unwind, Asuna joins Mito in the game, where the thrill of a new world quickly gives way to something far more dangerous.

Soon, Asuna, Mito, and every other logged-in player learn they can’t log out: they’re trapped inside SAO, and death in the game means death in reality. Escape demands the impossible—clearing all one hundred floors—forcing Asuna to fight, learn, and endure alongside other players, including the solitary swordsman Kazuto “Kirito” Kirigaya, as they struggle to survive and push upward through a merciless gauntlet.
