At Border Defense Agency headquarters, the B-Rank Wars intensify as squads battle for a coveted place on the upcoming Away Mission. Osamu Mikumo and Tamakoma-2 have managed to stay in contention, but the closing rounds demand more than what their current skill set can reliably deliver.

With a gifted new member joining their ranks, Tamakoma-2 throws itself into training and tactical refinement to keep pace with the competition. Their progress is threatened, however, when a fierce internal dispute erupts—one that could derail their hard-won chance to reach the Neighbors’ world.
