World Trigger 2nd Season

Following the successful defense against Aftokrator, the Border Defense Agency begins gearing up for an away mission into the Neighbors’ world. With positions on the expedition largely reserved for A-rank squads, the ongoing B-rank wars take on new urgency. Osamu Mikumo and Tamakoma-2 push through match after match, aiming to climb the rankings and earn a promotion before the operation departs.

As preparations continue, a new Neighbor vessel closes in on Border Headquarters. The attackers’ focus quickly turns to the Expedition Ship, forcing Border to scramble a response—made harder by the limited number of squads available while the rank wars are still underway. The sudden assault throws the organization into confusion, leaving the mission’s centerpiece and its future in doubt.
