In Neo Kyoto, everyday life is governed by the card game Build Divide. Disputes are settled at the table, social standing rises and falls with each match, and the city’s highest prize is the title of King—an unrivaled player whose mastery effectively places Neo Kyoto under their control.

Teruto Kurabe awakens there with only his name and a deck in hand, unable to remember even the rules of the game that dictates everything around him. After meeting Sakura Banka, he relearns how to play and recalls a single, urgent objective: he must meet the King. With Sakura at his side, Teruto enters the Rebuild tournament, where collecting twenty-one tokens earns the right to challenge the throne—while each duel also brings back fragments of memory that start to cast doubt on what Neo Kyoto truly is.
