Butareba -The Story of a Man Who Turned into a Pig-

An arrogant scientist comes to in a filthy pigsty with only a hazy memory of eating raw pig liver before collapsing on the subway. It doesn’t take long to realize he’s been transformed into a pig—and dropped into an unfamiliar fantasy world. Confused and trapped in a body that can do little, he’s rescued by Jess, a young Yesma servant marked by a silver collar and gifted with telepathy.

Even as his thoughts about her veer into the inappropriate, Jess repeatedly puts herself out for his sake, and he vows to repay her however he can. Yet her kindness can’t shield her from the prejudice and danger Yesmas face every day. Hoping to reach the royal capital and plead with the king to restore his human form, he’s forced to weigh that goal against the growing fear that leaving Jess alone could cost her far more than she realizes.
