Gods' Game We Play

Leoleshea, a dragon god, is accidentally roused from a long slumber sealed in a glacier and immediately demands to meet the greatest game player of the age. After a year of waiting, she’s introduced to Fay Theo Philus—an apostle, a human granted a supernatural power known as an Arise and the right to challenge the gods through games. Discovering a shared love for contests of chance and intellect, Leoleshea takes a liking to Fay, lets him call her “Leshea,” and joins forces with him as his partner in the gods’ games.

Since granting humans the ability to face them in competition, the gods have promised to fulfill any wish for those who earn ten victories. Leshea aims to regain her standing as an official god after losing her divine status by descending to the human world, while Fay seeks the woman who first taught him how to play. Their teamwork is strong from the start, but each match comes with its own conditions and concealed rules, forcing them to rely on strategy and flawless coordination to reach their goals.
