Synopsis
*Macross Frontier: The False Songstress* reimagines the events of *Macross Frontier* with a blend of familiar developments and newly arranged story beats. When superstar singer Sheryl Nome comes to the Frontier colonial fleet for a concert, suspicions within the Frontier government quickly escalate, and she becomes entangled in accusations of spying for the Galaxy.
Amid the growing intrigue, childhood friends Alto Saotome and Ranka Lee continue chasing their respective ambitions as tensions mount and the looming conflict between Frontier and the Vajra edges ever closer. Serving as the first half of this cinematic retelling, the story continues in *The Wings of Goodbye*.
