Symphogear

Tsubasa Kazanari and Kanade Amou make up Zwei Wing, an idol duo whose performances do more than entertain: their singing activates ancient armaments called Symphogears, used in secret to fight the lethal alien threat known as the Noise. Although the public knows the Noise exist, the Symphogears remain classified—until a concert turns into a battlefield. In the chaos, Kanade gives her life to save a young girl, Hibiki Tachibana, leaving Tsubasa shattered and a fragment of a Symphogear lodged within Hibiki.

Two years later, another Noise incident pulls Hibiki back into danger. When she risks herself to help a child left behind during the evacuation, the power inside her awakens—revealing a connection to Kanade’s Symphogear. Still burdened by grief, Tsubasa must find a way to fight alongside Hibiki as they stand against the Noise and protect humanity.
