Freelance photographer Kouya Madoka’s life unravels after a published photo ignites a storm of online harassment, costing him his wife Saeko Yukihira and leaving him without the confidence—or the nerve—to photograph people. Years later, a new assignment draws him into the high-speed world of Formula 4, where the intensity of a single hard-fought race rekindles his drive to keep shooting.

When Haruka Asahina of Komaki Motors breaks down in tears on the track, Madoka captures the raw moment through his lens. The image pushes him into a sudden resolve to sponsor Haruka and the Komaki team, only for the punishing expenses of the sport to force a reality check. Still, with the underfunded team facing long odds, Madoka searches for other ways to help—and his determination to see Haruka succeed may be the spark that carries the young driver upward.
