Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout The Animation

Life on Kurken Island feels stiflingly routine for Reisalin “Ryza” Stout. Though she’s the daughter of a diligent farmer, Ryza spends her days roaming the island and staging make-believe adventures, growing increasingly frustrated with the local rule that discourages anyone from leaving.

Hoping for a change, she slips away by boat with her close friends—studious Tao Mongarten and would-be fighter Lent Marslink—and the trio heads into a nearby forest. There they encounter Klaudia Valentz, the daughter of a merchant visiting the island, who has also wandered off on her own. Their curiosity quickly turns risky when monsters appear, until alchemist Empel Vollmer and his capable guardian Lila Decyrus step in to save them. The meeting opens Ryza’s eyes to alchemy, setting her on a path that promises far more than ordinary island life.
