Kazuyoshi Igarashi, a former professional golfer seeking a fresh start, arrives at the tranquil Hinoshima Island to take up a position at its development center. Anticipating a quiet, rural landscape, he is pleasantly surprised to find a vibrant golf course crafted by the island's residents. The unique seaside setting has led the community to embrace golf as a beloved pastime, showcasing their creativity and passion for the sport.

As Kazuyoshi settles in, he encounters Tonbo Ooi, a spirited young girl who plays golf with remarkable skill using only a 3-iron, a notoriously challenging club. Her extraordinary talent and unconventional approach to the game awaken a sense of joy and wonder in Kazuyoshi, prompting him to reevaluate his own relationship with golf. Through his interactions with Tonbo and the island's close-knit community, he begins to rediscover the fun and camaraderie that the sport can offer.
