Synopsis
Shouzou Saitou and his wife, Ine, have shared nearly sixty years of marriage. They never struck it rich or even managed a honeymoon, yet their bond has only deepened with time. Now they live quietly, caring for their apple orchard and welcoming visits from their affectionate family.
One day, while checking the apple tree they planted on their wedding day—recently split in two by a typhoon—they spot a single golden apple.
