Koyomi Araragi, a solitary high school student, finds solace in the company of his classmate Tsubasa Hanekawa, which begins to shift his cynical worldview. However, his life takes a dark turn one fateful night when he encounters a mysterious woman, grotesquely dismembered and on the brink of death. In a desperate bid to reclaim his humanity, he seeks the guidance of Meme Oshino, a specialist in supernatural phenomena. To restore Kiss-Shot's full powers and regain his mortality, Koyomi must confront three formidable vampire hunters who have taken her severed limbs. As he battles these adversaries, he grapples with a more profound struggle—one that challenges the very essence of his humanity.
