Vampire Dormitory

Down on her luck and newly homeless, Mito Yamamoto drifts through another bleak day until a chance stop at a café leaves her with a cut hand—and an unsettling encounter. The server, Ruka Saotome, shocks her by tasting the blood from her wound and reacting with open disgust. Humiliated and exhausted by loneliness, Mito flees to a bridge, thinking she has reached her limit.

A misstep turns dangerous, but Ruka appears in time to save her and admits the truth: he’s a vampire. For reasons he won’t fully explain, Ruka can’t feed on just any woman, so he offers Mito a bargain—become his thrall, his devoted attendant and personal source of blood, and he’ll give her shelter and affection to “sweeten” the taste.

There’s one complication Mito can’t reveal: she’s a girl. Hiding her hair and figure, she accepts the deal, enrolls at Hijirigaoka Boys’ High School, and works alongside Ruka at the café. As their connection grows, keeping her identity secret becomes increasingly difficult.
