Kanata Misora has long been the standout in competitive cheerleading, having helped her middle school team win Japan’s national championship. Entering Takanozaki Prefectural High School alongside her friend Megumi Kaionji, she plans to aim for the top again—until an incident during a competition shakes her confidence and leaves her unable to perform as she once did. She stops showing up to club practice, unsure of where her talent has gone.

In that slump, Kanata becomes captivated by Suzuha Obunai, an online celebrity whose parkour showcases remarkable athleticism, and the two strike up a friendship. Through Suzuha, Kanata is introduced to Anna Aveiro, Nodoka Ootani, and Suzuha’s classmate Shion Tanizaki—girls with abilities that can translate to cheerleading in different ways. Brought together by chance, the six begin supporting one another as they pursue their individual dreams.
