Shiboyugi: Playing Death Games to Put Food on the Table

Yuuki comes to in a lavish bed inside a strange manor, dressed in a maid uniform with no clear explanation of how she got there. She isn’t alone—five other girls, all wearing the same outfit, soon turn up as well. The building is known as the Ghost House, and escaping it means enduring a string of lethal, trap-filled games.

Blowguns, buzz saws, locked rooms, and hidden weapons turn every challenge into a fight to stay alive, leaving most of the group terrified and overwhelmed. Yuuki, however, reacts differently: at just seventeen, surviving death games is already her job—an unsettling fact even she admits is hard to explain, but it’s how she makes a living.
