The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei: He Just Solves All the Mysteries

Akihiko Chuuzenji, a scholarly and rational-minded teacher, takes on the role of a Japanese instructor at Tokyo Metropolitan Mitogawa High School, where he believes every enigma can be unraveled through logic and intellect. His life takes an unexpected turn when he meets Kanna Kusakabe, an enthusiastic and kind-hearted student whose eagerness to assist others often leads her into unforeseen challenges. When a classmate is supposedly cursed by a ghost, Kanna's curiosity drives her to explore the school at night, only to discover that the ghost is none other than Akihiko himself, hidden away in a secret room filled with arcane literature.

To maintain the secret of his mystical endeavors, Akihiko concocts a tale that positions Kanna as a gifted exorcist, much to her dismay. Suddenly thrust into the spotlight, Kanna finds herself navigating a series of paranormal investigations, much to the delight—and sometimes annoyance—of her classmates. With Akihiko's reluctant guidance, she learns to balance her newfound reputation while uncovering the mysteries that intertwine the supernatural and the rational, showcasing the enduring battle between belief and reason.
