Synopsis
Constance Grail, the earnest 16-year-old heir of the respected Grail family, has been raised to live by their creed: “Be you sincere.” When her father’s debts threaten their standing, she accepts an engagement arranged to secure the family’s future, even as she quietly wishes for a marriage born of love.
At a nobleman’s ball, Constance notices a captivating woman lingering at the margins and urges her to join the festivities—only to lose her in the crowd. Soon after, Constance is publicly accused of theft by her fiancé’s lover, putting her name and prospects on the verge of collapse. In desperation, she receives an unexpected rescue: the same mysterious woman possesses her, revealing herself as Scarlett Castiel, a notorious villainess executed a decade earlier.
