Koutarou Murata is a worn-out salaryman who finds his one reliable breather at the neighborhood ballpark, where the rhythm of the game helps him forget the grind of daily life. During a night at the stadium, he’s singled out by Ruriko, a spirited newcomer working the beer stands, determined to make her first sale. Murata takes her up on the offer, and a friendly connection forms—complete with plenty of light, back-and-forth teasing.
