A century has passed since the immortal Tian Quan vanquished the formidable Mirage Lord, an event that led to the disappearance of the Mirage Spirit from Cangshuo. Despite her victory, the battle has left Tian Quan with an incomplete soul and fragmented memories. Seeking solace and purpose, she descends into the mortal realm, where she tends to the land and adopts an enigmatic bird named Li Xiao. To her astonishment, Li Xiao can transform into a human, bearing an uncanny resemblance to her long-lost lover, Shao Weili.

Li Xiao possesses a remarkable gift for healing, using his knowledge of herbs to aid those in need on Tian Quan's behalf. However, when Li Xiao goes missing after a few days, Tian Quan embarks on a quest to Luoyi Town to find him, only to discover a grim scene—every resident has been slain, and the Mirage Spirit has resurfaced. Together, Tian Quan and Li Xiao confront this new threat, as hidden memories begin to surface, revealing an intricate connection among Tian Quan, her past love Shao Weili, and the very Mirage she thought she had defeated.
