Inherit the Winds

In the tumultuous backdrop of June 1863, a man awakens with no recollection of his past, finding himself at the Mibu Roushigumi headquarters in Kyoto. Under the guidance of vice-commander Souji Okita, he is bestowed with the name Jinsuke Tachikawa and is welcomed into the ranks of this prestigious group. As the Mibu Roushigumi, which would later be recognized as the Shinsengumi, rises to prominence amidst the strife of the late Edo period, Jinsuke becomes intricately entwined with the lives of his fellow members and the chaotic events that shape their world.

As Jinsuke embarks on a journey of self-discovery, he grapples with the weight of his lost memories. The bonds he forges with his comrades deepen, even as the reality of their tumultuous era looms large. When his past finally resurfaces, it brings with it revelations that alter not only his fate but also the course of the turbulent times they live in.
