In the icy expanse of Siberia, Jubei Yagyu once faced off against Kitaretsusai from the Northern Yagyu clan in a legendary duel that would change the course of his family's fate. The battle ended with a heavy toll, leaving his daughter Freesia trapped in a state of suspended animation. Fast forward to the modern era, where the effects of climate change have caused Freesia to awaken from her frozen slumber, leading her to Japan as an unsuspecting middle school student.

As Freesia navigates her new life, she forms a friendship with Jiyuu Nanohana, a cheerful classmate unaware of the hidden motives behind Freesia's arrival. Freesia is on a quest to reclaim the coveted Lovely Eye Patch, convinced that it rightfully belongs to her.
