In the bustling Edo City, a group of five adventurous youths stumbles upon a mysterious rocky island, uncovering the remnants of advanced mecha technology designed by the visionary Doctor Hoarai. Despite facing skepticism from the scientific community, Hoarai's predictions of an impending invasion by a subterranean race of rock beings have proven true. Although he has passed away, his consciousness now resides within a computer, guiding the young explorers in their newfound mission.

United by purpose, the team forms the Gowapper 5 Gordam, dedicated to piloting the formidable robot Gordam in defense of Earth. Under the courageous leadership of Youko Misaki, they prepare to confront the relentless waves of the otherworldly attackers. Together, they navigate the challenges of friendship, bravery, and the weight of responsibility as they strive to protect their home from the looming threat beneath the surface.
