More than two decades have passed since a malevolent summoner unleashed the "Great Summon," resulting in the death of a third of humanity and paving the way for devils and monsters to roam the Earth. In the midst of this chaos, Tamura Fukutaro, a painter seeking inspiration, finds himself residing in a peculiar apartment complex known as "Ashiaraiyashiki."

As he settles into his new home, Fukutaro becomes entangled in the struggles of his extraordinary neighbors—beings that defy the boundaries of the human world. This unexpected involvement draws him into an intense conflict that pits gods, demons, and the enigmatic ruler known as "The Central" against one another, challenging his understanding of reality and the true nature of the battles that rage around him.
